An English love of Munich tradition
ome traditions start small and grow over the years to become an integral part of life – as is the case with Foxi. He has been drawn to the Oktoberfest in Munich every year since his youth. For him, the Oktoberfest is much more than just a folk festival: it is an affair of the heart, a tradition that he has lived with enthusiasm since his teenage years. He travels from England every year for it.
“For me, Oktoberfest is much more than just a festival,” says Foxi. Visiting the Oktoberfest has been an annual tradition for him since his youth. Together with his wife, he enjoys the Bavarian beer, the hearty food and the unique atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else. Since day one, his favorite tent has been the Schottenhamel.
