Court Garden

In the new hip Werksviertel at the Ostbahnhof you have a great view over the city and in front of the Ferris wheel it is great to pose for Instagram. During the ride you can admire Munich and the mountains from above for 30 minutes.
Sundowner at the Angel of Peace
The monument to Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, is Munich’s guardian angel, so to speak, and represents 25 years of peace between Germany and France. At the foot of the Friedensengel you have a great view of the old town and the fountain below. PS. Among Munich residents, the Friedensengel is a little insider tip to enjoy the sunset with a cold beer, as it is less crowded. The viewpoint on the terrace is often used for a selfie session, and not without reason.
Palace of Justice
Are you also looking for the perfect place to take a photo? – Then you’ve come to the right place. In the entrance hall of the Palace of Justice, a huge glass dome is enthroned at a height of approx. 67 meters. It ensures that the perfect photo shoot light prevails between the magnificent staircases. The entrance is free, but you have to go through a security check (similar to the airport).
State Opera
The Bavarian State Opera is one of the most prestigious opera houses in the world. Even if you don’t want to afford a performance and see the opera house from the inside, the opera house and its square are worth a visit and a photo.
Victory Gate
Even though the Siegestor is not the Arc de Triomphe, it is still worth a photo! It is modeled on the Arch of Constantine in Rome and is now a peace memorial.
