The Munich Transport Centre is a good place to go for families who are enthusiastic about transport. In addition to the traffic centre, the Flugwerft in Schleißheim is also perfect for learning more about flying objects. If you want to watch planes in action, the Munich Airport Visitor Centre is the place to go.

In the Westbad, the whole family gets their money’s worth, whether swimming, splashing, sliding or relaxing. And just outside Munich is the largest thermal spa in the world – Therme Erding. Everyone can have fun on the 28 water slides or in the wave pool and there are numerous opportunities to relax in the VitalTherme & saunas.

Ice skating at the Prinzregentenstadion and the Olympia Ice Sports Centre is perfect for young and old. Whether beginner or advanced, it’s fun for everyone!

Action for young and old!
There are lots of attractions for the little ones to discover at the Wichtelwerk & Erdino, from a ball pool to a climbing labyrinth. For more sporting activity, the Boulderwelt München Ost is well suited. Boulderwelt has a children’s world and a mixed area for children aged 6 and over. For slightly older children, there are larger sports arenas such as the Jump House or the Maxx Arena.

The best places in the English Garden!
There are some beautiful spots in the English Garden, including the Poschinger Weiher and the Hirschau playground. At the Chinese Tower there is plenty of food and a playground as well as a historic children’s carousel dating back to 1913 – a ride on it is a must!

There is a lot to discover in the forest!
At Poing Wildlife Park, you can see many native wild animal species in their natural environment and take a walk through the forest. You can also observe fallow deer, mouflons and wolves as you pass various species of wildlife. Also in the forest, but with more physical action, is the Munich Forest Climbing Park. Even the little ones can gain their first experience of climbing here. In the fairytale forest in the Isar valley, there are many fairytale-themed attractions, from roller coasters to many fairytale stories!
