Cocoon Theresienwiese Wins “Hotel Property of the Year 2025”

Big smiles all around at Cocoon: our Cocoon Hotel Theresienwiese has been awarded the prestigious Hotel Property Award 2025 at the 196+ Forum Munich! The prize honors hotel projects that stand out through innovation, design, and sustainability – and we’re beyond proud that our newest Cocoon in Munich has made it to the top.

The project represents a new kind of urban mixed-use concept, combining hospitality, work, living, and craftsmanship under one roof. Alongside our boutique hotel with 84 rooms and the rooftop Bulli Bar, the building also houses the traditional Rischart bakery, co-working spaces, and fully furnished staff apartments. The result: a lively, authentic place that brings the city to life – day and night.

Designed in our signature Cocoon style – somewhere between urban vibe and natural calm, the hotel embodies our motto Urban Nature: wood, felt, and warm tones meet clean lines and playful design details. Sustainability plays a major role too – with photovoltaic façades, heat recovery systems, and energy-efficient building technology all contributing to a greener footprint.

Winning this award is a wonderful recognition that modern hospitality can be so much more than just a place to sleep. It’s about creating spaces to meet, connect, and feel at home. That’s exactly what we aim for at Cocoon Theresienwiese – right in the heart of Munich, with mountain views and a smile on our faces.
