Cocoon Grows in Austria – Welcome, Vienna!
The Cocoon Hotels continue to grow – and we’re delighted to share the news that the Boutiquehotel Stadthalle in Vienna will become part of the Cocoon family as of September 1, 2025.
Located in the charming 15th district, just a stone’s throw from the Westbahnhof, this special property is well known far beyond Vienna for its consistently sustainable concept – including a lavender roof and a green courtyard oasis that feels like a little holiday in the city during summer.
Naturalness, Warmth & Diversity – Our Shared Foundation
The previous owner, Michaela Reitterer, shaped the Boutiquehotel Stadthalle with great dedication and innovative spirit. We are honored to have earned her trust and will continue along the same path with full commitment – in line with our values of naturalness, warmth, and diversity.
The hotel will be managed by Elfi Harrer, who has already successfully built up the Cocoon Hotel Salzburg. With her experience and passion for hospitality, she will ensure that the hotel retains its unique charm while making space for new ideas.
Looking Ahead
In early 2026, we will begin a careful renovation to reposition the Boutiquehotel Stadthalle as a Cocoon Lifestyle Hotel. The sustainable core of the property will remain, while fresh design elements and new amenities will further enhance the comfort of our guests.
